Nestor Pérez (IV)

Caracas, Venezuela

I work in digital transformation. In practice that means building the systems that help a business scale, and leaving them running in the hands of the people who own them.

The work

theairosproject

Digital systems

Websites and email systems built with the client in the room, not behind closed doors. Every handover includes the accounts in their name and the recordings of the sessions, so they can keep it running without depending on anyone.

TAPCS

Tailored solutions

Transforming, evolving, solving. Solutions cut to the shape of the business that asked for them, rather than to the shape of whatever is easiest to sell twice.

The line

Four men have carried this name. I am the fourth.

  1. Great-grandfather

    Nestor Luis Pérez Luzardo (1882-1949)

A lawyer and Venezuela’s Minister of Development between 1936 and 1938. Wikipedia

  2. Grandfather

    Nestor Eduardo Pérez Leboff (1924-2003)

BSc in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. One of the founding pillars of refrigeration in Venezuela, and a postgraduate lecturer at the Universidad Central de Venezuela.

  3. Father

    Nestor Luis Pérez Lossada (1950-2026)

No letters after his name, and he never needed them: a contemplative farmer and, at heart, a true engineer. Rest in peace. I will miss you every day, with my heart and with my mind.
