The record
Four men have carried this name. Three of them are gone. What they built lives in paper archives, in a couple of encyclopedia entries, and in the memory of people who are themselves getting older.
None of that is in one place, and almost none of it is easy to find. This page is the one place. It is deliberately small and deliberately plain, because the things most likely to survive on the internet are the ones that ask the least of it.
The honest reason
It is also a search result. Nestor Pérez is close to the most ordinary combination a Venezuelan name can make, and if you type it you will get a lot of people who are not me and a lot of pages I did not write. I would rather the first thing you find be something I am willing to sign.
That is the whole of it. No newsletter, nothing to buy on this page, no tracking beyond knowing which links people follow out of here.
